So how was it for you? The i-UG ran its 1st Virtual IBM i Event  – International i-Power 2020(v) on the 10th & 11th of June and what a success it was. 

Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions in the UK, the i-UG decided not to cancel their scheduled event but to turn it into a Virtual Conference that was attended by over 400 people, for free with all proceeds going to the NHS Charities Together fund. 

An astonishing amount was raised for the NHS Charities Together fund in recognition of their hard work during the Coronavirus pandemic, a staggering £10,029 and it seems to be growing by the day. 

Tracy Eastwood commented “What a great couple of days it was – we got to hear from some great keynote speakers from within the IBM i industry, with such a huge attendee list, it’s the best attended event ever. Being proud sponsors of the event it was good to support the IBM i community, whilst raising vital funds for the NHS. The i-UG really did put on a good show!”
